This is the Mantis Society's Philosophy section. This is an independent understanding of god unassociated with an other religion.
His Eminence, Mantis, has been teaching his understanding of god since 1980. He has dealt with people from all walks of life, as his teachings discuss. It is our hope that these words will help you understand yourself and the world around you. The messages will gain more detail as Mantis finds the need for further explanation of a topic. Please use these links and pass on the wisdom to others. ProfanityCertain words are deemed by society to be improper. This, in fact, is wrong. The judgment of intended meaning is the determining factor in the classification of a word. The simple truth is, words are only words, and the use of one, or more, to express an emotional point with dramatic emphasis is going to have the same meaning regardless of the word used. An example of this is: dang, darn, golly-gee, and damn, all of these words are interchangeable. The mean is the same, yet the fact of where you are from determines whether a word is vulgar, or not. In reality, no word is vulgar, only the soul is vulgar. The ability to emphasis an emotion with oral representation is a component of our existence. The offense is generally taken because the recipient is the one getting berated. Therefore, it is not so much the word, but rather the direction of said word, that is truly offensive. For a more dramatic display, one could say "You fuckin' bitch!" Or "I dislike you!" Both carry the same intention, yet society accepts one and not the other. Thank you for your interest and may god protect you. |
